FC Edmonton’s coaching staff are accepting applicants for the FC Edmonton Academy Coach Mentorship Program, a new initiative in 2017 focused on providing four coaches with experience assisting with the on-field training sessions of our U16 and U18 programs.

Starting September 18th, 2017, successful candidates will be expected to attend at least two training sessions per week, held from 4:15PM-5:45PM every Monday to Friday, from September 18, 2017 until April 28, 2018. Coaches applying for these positions must hold a minimum Provincial B license and be interested in pursuing their Canadian Soccer Association National B License.

The mentorship positions are unpaid; however, training kit and access to the full FCE Academy training program will be provided. Successful candidates will be required to:

– Hold a minimum Provincial B license;
– Attend a minimum of two training sessions per week;
– Become comfortable with our 6-week periodization model;
– Hold a valid CRC certificate;
– Be in good standing with the Alberta Soccer Association;
– Assist on-field during training sessions; and
– Provide own transportation to and from training.
