HFX Wanderers and FC Edmonton squared off in Halifax on Saturday afternoon, and came away with a 1-1 draw. Tobias Warschewski and Sam Salter both scored penalties, but neither side was able to find an elusive game-winner.
It was also a big day for Wanderers defender Mateo Restrepo, who captained the home team in the final match of his professional career before hanging up his boots to further his medical career at the renowned Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Restrepo was honoured pregame, and said farewell to the fans postgame.
Here are some sights and sounds from Wanderers Grounds.
