FC Edmonton Announces New Covid-19 Protocols Commencing September 29

FC Edmonton of the Canadian Premier League announced a decision to enforce enhanced Covid-19 health and safety measures for the remainder of the season. The measures are in line with other professional teams, institutions, venues and events that have recently made similar announcements to help protect fans and stem the very real threats presented by Covid-19, its variants, and the spread.

FC Edmonton has made the decision to implement certain policies and measures in an effort to provide a level of comfort and safety for our passionate fan base attending the remainder of FC Edmonton home games for the 2021 season. The club will continue to operate under these measures and in strict adherence to Alberta Health guidelines and recommendations.

The measures will take effect starting on Wednesday, September 29, when the gates open at 7 p.m. to fans attending the match vs Cavalry FC.

FC Edmonton will require all attendees aged 12 and older to provide verification of their COVID-19 vaccination (single or double dose) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of game time in order to enter Clarke Stadium. Masks will be required in indoor locations.

These measures will take effect starting on the September 29 match versus Cavalry FC.
