Now that the Canadian Premier League schedule has been officially released, let’s take a closer look at some of the biggest moments on the calendar for FC Edmonton:
Saturday, May 4th – Valour FC v FC Edmonton
The first ever CPL match for the Eddies will be away to Winnipeg as they visit Valour FC. This will be our first real look at Jeff Paulus’ starting eleven and the new gaffer’s style of play in a match with points on the line.
Saturday, May 12th – FC Edmonton v Pacific FC
FC Edmonton will play at Clarke Stadium for the first time this season against Pacific FC. Our inaugural home match provides a great opportunity to spoil all of the mothers in our city with a day out. Brunch, football and three points should be in everyone’s plans.
Saturday, May 18th – Cavalry FC v FC Edmonton
The first of five Al Classico matchups in league play, FC Edmonton will look to make a big impression against the squad from Calgary as the rivalry takes to the pitch for the first time in an official contest.
